Jessie and Max tie the knot!

I had the opportunity to photograph Jessica and Max's wedding on 9/25/2010. I had already photographed their engagement shoot and I absolutely love this couple! Their wedding was to die for! They were married in a beautiful sun filled church in Laurel, Maryland where Jessie's parents were married, and had a gorgeous detail filled reception at the University of Maryland University College Conference Center. The wedding was full of emotion and love between Jessie and Max who have been together 11 years, and also from their friends and family who were so happy for the wonderful couple. I am so grateful to have shared in their day with them and out of so many photos these are just a few of my favorites.

John Charis

My good friend Jess from college had a beautiful baby boy with her husband J.J. and I was so excited not only to get to catch up with her but to also take some pictures of her precious baby John. I can't wait to see her again and take more!

Facebook and Twitter

I have been putting off setting up a facebook and twitter page. I'm not sure why but there are some things that I decide that I don't "need" and then I realize that I am holding off on doing things that might be really good for my business! I have been in business for myself for over a year now and I am really proud of what I have accomplished but I am so ready to book more clients and share my wedding photography with more couples! I feel like I am a horse at the gate just waiting to get out! So, I set up a Jessica Loren Photography facebook page and just set up a twitter account (JLGPhotos) which will hopefully attract more business and more cool couples!

Exciting!

I have not been good at blogging at all! I have had the wedding of Kay and John just burning my hard drive waiting to be posted so I am doing that in this post.

I also want to tell everyone that I have exciting news as well! I am engaged to the most beautiful woman in the world and now I feel like all of my wonderful couples! I just want to shout to the rooftops that I am engaged and to be married next October 15, 2011.

Now onto the crux of the post! Kay and John are the most adorable couple and though the day required lots of driving for my assistant and I the weather was perfect, the couple gorgeous, and the sunset to die for!

Family Portraits with Lisa

Lisa is a great coworker and friend and she asked me if I would do some family portraits for her. We had the session today and it was a blast! The boys played some basketball. Alhondra climbed trees and lisa looked beautiful as always enjoying the kids. Below are just a few shots from a great session!

Weddings!

I have been thinking a lot this weekend about how blessed I am to work with so many wonderful couples and to photograph so many wonderful weddings. I am posting a few pics of different weddings from the last year to show how grateful I am! Can't wait to photograph more!
