Exciting!

I have not been good at blogging at all! I have had the wedding of Kay and John just burning my hard drive waiting to be posted so I am doing that in this post.

I also want to tell everyone that I have exciting news as well! I am engaged to the most beautiful woman in the world and now I feel like all of my wonderful couples! I just want to shout to the rooftops that I am engaged and to be married next October 15, 2011.

Now onto the crux of the post! Kay and John are the most adorable couple and though the day required lots of driving for my assistant and I the weather was perfect, the couple gorgeous, and the sunset to die for!

Family Portraits with Lisa

Lisa is a great coworker and friend and she asked me if I would do some family portraits for her. We had the session today and it was a blast! The boys played some basketball. Alhondra climbed trees and lisa looked beautiful as always enjoying the kids. Below are just a few shots from a great session!

Weddings!

I have been thinking a lot this weekend about how blessed I am to work with so many wonderful couples and to photograph so many wonderful weddings. I am posting a few pics of different weddings from the last year to show how grateful I am! Can't wait to photograph more!

Jessica And Max Engagement Shoot

Jessica and Max had their engagement shoot yesterday on one of the hottest June days on record! Not only were they good sports about the heat (Max cracked jokes from the very beginning) but I have so many photographs to choose from I had a hard time picking ones for the preview on this blog. Jessica and Max laughed and joked and were so sweet with each other. I had a great time shooting and can't wait for their wedding in September!

Drew Anne

Our good friends Michelle and Andrew have an adorable baby girl name Drew. We went over to their to house to see them last weekend and of course an impromptu photo shoot followed! Here are just a few of the pictures I shot of the beautiful Drew!

Lynn and Scott tie the knot!

Two saturdays ago the amazing Lynn and Scott came all the way from California to tie
the knot in Maryland. The wedding was beautiful and heartfelt. They both wore
crowns of flowers and walked into the ceremony together.
After the ceremony Lynn, Scott, and guests ate wonderful vegetarian food, strawberry cake,
and had a first dance. Thank you for sharing this special day with me!

Lentcen and Alex Engagement Shoot

I had the opportunity to photograph the adorable Lentcen and Alex in Old Town, Alexandria
on Saturday for their engagment shoot. These two were so much fun to photograph.
They laughed, were up for anything, and we even photographed their dogs in a few shots! Thanks for a great day guys and I can't wait to photograph your wedding in November!
